INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING
In this one-on-one setting, also referred to as psychotherapy, you are given the opportunity to confidentially talk through your most pressing problems and situations. Together, we create a personalized program that empowers you to live a better and healthier life. We will work to identify the nature of the problems that you’re dealing with and find the solution best suited to your requirements.
TEEN THERAPY
These sessions are designed to help with issues that specifically affect the mental health and functioning of teenagers ages 15 and above. The goal is to assist them in building stronger relationships, improve communication, conflict management & resolution. In addition, we address many of the societal pressures teens currently face with a goal to create healthy coping and problem-solving skills that can be transitioned into adulthood to facilitate mental wellbeing.
TRAUMA-INFORMED CARE
Trauma impacts our lives in various ways, and we may not always recognize the lasting effects a particular event has had on us. Trauma therapy is a form of psychotherapy (talk therapy) designed to help manage the impact of traumatic events on one's life through the use of specialized skills and strategies. The strategies employed are designed to help you overcome the effects of traumatic events without re-traumatizing.
GERIATRIC THERAPY
Mental health wellness is important regardless of age, experience, or the like. These sessions are designed to assist individuals over the age of 60 in coping with any changes they may be experiencing. Our Geriatric Mental Health program is highly focused on the emotional and psychological needs of the patient in efforts that they may find continued enjoyment of all that life has to offer.
